ESM began with EatSleepFootyRepeat, an online magazine show created to tell the stories of Welsh football fans.
Covering the Wales men's and women's international teams through the experiences of the fans the show was provided for free to Wales Online to post on their online platforms.
Across the first year, ESFR grew to amass over 300,000 views across 25 episodes. These humble beginnings were where EatSleep Media began. Traveling across Wales covering the domestic game, and across Europe following Wales' international teams, ESFR became the voice of the fans, reporting from the bars where Wales fans sang, telling the stories of those who lived and breathed Welsh football. ESFR opened doors and opportunities and led to the support and access of the FA Wales, who acknowledged our ability to engage with the fanbase with authentic content.
