Coffee with Sam Warburton and Harding Evans Solicitors
“We’ve Sam Warburton for a morning, there’s huge changes in the law around Landlords and we have clients both in Wales and England. Let’s do an England v Wales clash”.
We love working with Harding Evans Marketing and Communications Manager Haley Evans.
Meeting in a coffee shop in Chepstow, the home of EatSleep Media, we discussed how we could bring this to life.
Sam seemed the perfect fit. Let’s be honest there’s rugby fans on either side of the Prince of Wales Bridge that remember his titanic performances in clashes between England and Wales.
Since retiring from rugby the former Lions captain’s built his own businesses, is a canny investor and as a client of Harding Evans he’s passionate about supporting them.
We did some work with Haley and Sam a couple of years ago. Although happy with the outcome we wanted to make this a much more relaxed and vibe.
So, it was decided that Coffee #1, pretty much opposite the Whitchurch branch of Harding Evans, would be the perfect place for Sam to meet with George, our Harding Evans specialist in the new Renters’ Rights Act.
BTW - when you watch the video, what an incredible natural performer George is. A star in the making for sure, especially under the expert guidance of Will.
Our partnership with Haley gives us the opportunity to pull together the brief which helps lay the foundation of the filming and conversation between Sam and George.
It’s really important when working together that everyone feels on the same page going into the shoot. That confidence that everyone knows what we are going to be shooting, delivering and working towards gives parameters for the presenters, helps the brilliant Sion pull the set together & allows our editor to bring it to life.
Coffee #1 proved to be a great spot, big thanks to them for sorting out the upstairs for us. The light shining through the windows and Sam & George smashing the added bonus.
At EatSleep Media we offer a full range of media options so Haley decided that some behind the scenes photography would give her plenty of future use.
You can see a selection of Layla’s beautiful shots below.
Got to say that Sam is such a great person to work with. His attention to detail and relaxed delivery is on the money.
From set up to completion we produced a 16:9 long form video that Harding Evans used in their blog, check that out here if you are a landlord or tenant:
It was also used for the Harding Evans YT and LinkedIN pages - with the video pointing back to the company’s website.
Sam delivered a brilliant, short snappy socials piece which was delivered 9:16 perfect for Reels & tik tok.
And of course those brilliant photos which Haley will be able to use across socials, websites and newsletters.
Phew. Great morning’s work everyone. Oh, and if you know anyone that might find this information useful, do pass on Sam & George’s insights.
Almost as good a combination as Warburton and Lydiate in those Gatland years. Oh maaaan we miss those Gatland years!
If you have an idea that you’d like to bring to life then do get in touch with us at ESM and we will happily chat through your options.
