Red Wall+
Red Wall+
Red Wall+ is a brand new streaming platform built for Welsh football with documentaries, short-form series, live programmes, and more, and is undoubtedly our most ambitious project to date.
The brief from the Football Association of Wales was to create a media hub to celebrate and promote Welsh football at all levels. Working with the FAW and FIFA+, ESM developed the idea for a streaming platform filled with content that promoted and supported the strategic aims of the FAW through personality-led, story-driven entertaining, and confirmative content.
A mixture of fascinating documentaries, club profiles, coaching masterclasses and more - Red Wall+ will reach beyond the normal confines of Welsh football and embrace all aspects of culture in Wales and how they are intrinsically linked to the sport.
Developing a plan for a streaming platform of unique content from scratch has been an incredible experience for FAW, but seeing that vision develop into a platform of rich, beautiful content celebrating Welsh football, culture, people and life makes us extremely proud.
Since its launch RW+ has continued to grow and is now home to content made by ESM, Tiny Welsh Media, and S4C.
ESM has worked with partners such as Wales Arts International and had funding from the Anti Racist Wales Fund at the Welsh Government to continue making content for RW+. And there's plenty more still to come.
