Football Museum For Wales: Origins

Football Museum For Wales: Origins

The Football Museum For Wales in Wrexham is set to be a showcase of everything amazing about the game in Wales. With a rich history of football at all levels and covering all of Wales, it'll be the new home of the beautiful game and Wales contribution both domestically and internationally. The museum wanted to add digital content to its offering that captured the stories of a variety of football clubs across Wales to showcase the diverse stories in the game.

ESM were commissioned to capture six Origins films that told the story of six clubs. Merthyr Town, Aberystwyth Ladies, Caernarfon Town, Ruthin, African Community Centre AFC, Pontyclun - all of which have very different origins stories across the last 100+ years.

These films tell the stories of the clubs through the people who have lived and breathed them. Whether the club is a few years or 100+ years old, and which ever part of Wales they call home, they all have amazing people who gave given their all on or off the pitch at their heart.
