ESM x British Touring Car Championship

The British Touring Car Championship is one of the most exciting and popular racing series on the motorsports calendar.

Pitch Sports are a tech company that has a BTCC fan-dedicated app that brings those fans closer to the action and the paddock. They wanted to create a TV show that embraced that and gave fans an insight into life in the paddock on race day, covering the stories beyond the racing and featuring the big names of BTCC.

Using our experience and skills in developing online video shows like FC Cymru and Welsh Sport Insider, EatSleep Media produced a magazine-style show which took fans behind the scenes of the series and gave them access like they'd never seen before.

Race highlights were mixed with packages profiling the drivers, team bosses, mechanics, and all the other unsung heroes up and down the racing paddock. Fronted by former driver and team boss Shaun Hollamby, Pitch BTCC added depth and personality to the on-track action. A pilot series was broadcast on the new channel Sporty Stuff TV and EatSleep Media continues to develop ideas with Pitch Sports.
