Sport Wales wanted to showcase the benefits of National Lottery funding for a local squash club. The timing was to coincide with the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham as squash had a rare opportunity to shine on the world stage, and Sport Wales wanted to use that to drive more people towards grassroots squash.
EatSleep Media arranged an impromptu training session with Merthyr Squash Club to show their passion and commitment to the sport in a relaxed, informative, and engaging case study short-form social media video.
The video was delivered in several formats, in line with Sport Wales bilingual and digital policies. One version carried English subtitles, another Welsh, and then a third shorter portrait-style video was delivered bilingually for use on reels and stories.
